Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Engineer for a position located near Denver, Colorado.

The Engineer will support the planning, design and execution of gas infrastructure projects, including new and replacement pipeline assets.

The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or hold a green card. A Bachelor of Engineering degree and previous CAD experience are required for the position.

Engineer Responsibilities

• Perform project scoping, engineering design and cost estimating for new and replacement pipeline assets.
• Ensure project work complies with applicable regulations, including 49 CFR Part 192, as well as internal company standards.
• Provide construction support to help ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Operations and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain and update project tracking lists with current project status and progress.
• Prepare design drawings and service-related spreadsheets.
• Research and verify existing asset information to support project accuracy.
• Develop and review operating procedures as required.
• Prepare project Stage Gate documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings, training sessions, staff meetings and project coordination meetings.

Requirements of the Engineer

• Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• Previous AutoCAD or similar CAD program experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
