Apply NowOne Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Controls Specialist for a position located in Denver, Colorado, or Amarillo, Texas.
The Project Controls Specialist will support the Wildfire Mitigation Program by managing reporting requirements associated with state and federal grants.
The role combines financial analysis, grant reporting, project spending and budget monitoring, compliance documentation and coordination with grant and wildfire mitigation teams.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders and should have five to ten years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a reporting-focused finance role.
This role supports grant-funded wildfire mitigation initiatives by connecting financial reporting, project controls, compliance, documentation, funding requirements and monthly program coordination.
Strong experience analyzing financial information, spending, budgets and reporting data.
Ability to interpret grant requirements, track deadlines and maintain accurate funding documentation.
Intermediate to advanced Excel capability, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
Ability to maintain detailed records and support grant and financial compliance requirements.
Monitor project spending and budget performance across grant-funded initiatives.
Prepare accurate financial reporting aligned with program and grant requirements.
Use intermediate to advanced Excel functionality to organize and analyze financial information.
Use lookup functions to support reporting, reconciliation and financial analysis.
Grant management experience is valuable, particularly within regulated or public funding environments.
Department of Energy grant financial management experience is considered a plus.
